ASPiH - Association and Conference

The Association for Simulated Practice in Healthcare (ASPiH) is a not-for-profit membership association dedicated to improving patient care and professional performance by the use of simulated practice and technology enhanced learning.

The ASPiH is the organiser of the annual ASPiH Conference, which is aimed at all health professionals who want to learn more about or develop their simulated practice. The ASPiH Conference is an opportunity to share experiences, innovations and the evidence base for simulation in education and training.

We also want to improve the patient care by simulation. Our age simulation suit GERT enables younger persons to stand in the shoes of an elderly and to gain more empathy and understanding for older patients through this experience.

The age simulation suit GERT has not only been developed basing on scientific data, the effectiveness of age simulation in medical education has already been evidenced by several scientific surveys.
